Laurence Boulle

BA (Natal), LLB (Stellenbosch), LLM (London), PhD (Natal)

 

Laurence taught at the University of Adelaide before joining Bond as a foundation member of the Law School in 1988. He was Associate Dean from 1992-1994 and foundation Director of the Dispute Resolution Centre.

Laurence currently teaches Alternative Dispute Resolution subjects in the LLB and LLM degrees and is involved in mediation workshops for the profession. He conducts a mediation practice and is accredited by the Attorney-General's Department and the supreme Court of Queensland as a mediator.

In 1996 Laurence published Mediation: Principles, Process, Practice (Butterworths, Sydney) and the local editions have been published in New Zealand, Canada, Singapore and South Africa. He is editor of the ADR Bulletin and has been appointed Chair of the Federal Government's National Alternative Dispute Resolution Advisory Council from 1999 to 2002.
